The CICO mode is, no doubt, the most popular business mode in operating the VLT business. It supports banknotes (or coins) to be used on gaming machine by equipped with banknote (coin) acceptor and changer.

Ticket In & Ticket Out

To lower the cost of gaming machines, the TITO mode was introduced to the gaming industry. Ticket readers (or scanners) and printers are integrated to machines to replace banknote acceptors and changers which are costly. Player buys ticket, which is considered voucher with value, at a venue counter, and inserts to the ticket readers for “top up” in the gaming machines. After playing, player chooses to print out a ticket with winnings, and cashes it at the venue counter.

Card In & Card Out

Another new “CICO” mode, which is “Card In and Card Out”, stars appearing in the gaming industry. Comparing with TITO, tickets for “top up” and “cashing” are replaced by cards without cost increasing. It even saves on-going cost of paper rolls, and protects the environment.
