China celebrates the 100th anniversary of the founding of China Communist Party

On its 100th birthday, the Communist Party of China (CPC) is filled with vigor and poised to face the challenges ahead as China advances toward building a great modern socialist country in all respects.

Speaking at the ceremony in Tiananmen Square in the heart of Beijing, Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, highlighted that over the past century, the CPC has achieved remarkable historical milestones on behalf of the people. "Today, it is rallying and leading the Chinese people on a new journey toward realizing the second centenary goal," proclaimed Xi, who also serves as Chinese President and Chairman of the Central Military Commission.

In Shenzhen, flowers and decorations adorned the main streets, squares, and parks to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the CPC's founding.
