In April, China’s lottery ticket sales saw a year-on-year increase of 6.8%, according to data from the Ministry of Finance. As reported by China.org, sales reached $4.64 billion last month, contributing to over 25% of the total for the first four months of the year.
From January to April, total lottery sales amounted to $17.53 billion, reflecting a 3.2% increase compared to the previous year. In 2021, sales for China’s Welfare and Sports Lotteries totaled $55.8 billion, with Genlot processing 52% of these transactions.
